Lost At Sea
This is a fun passion project that I choose to work on. The inspiration comes from the "Legend of Zelda" series. The focus was solely on working with the chest and the coding for texture transitions and particle effects. I was going for the idea that there was one last chest that had been missed through the adventures of the player. After years and years have passed it slowly begins to lose its luster.

Breakdown
The visual direction for this project draws from the visual style of "Breath of the Wild" and pushing it a little further with some more realistic aspects.
The textures for the project were created using Substance Designer and then combined together with Substance Painter. After the texturing was finished I used Blueprinting in the unreal engine to create the transition affect. Some of my blueprinting code can be seen down below.
