About Me

My name is Samantha Larsen and I have been working as a Digital Artist over the past couple of years. This past year I have been working for Mavericks VFX which has led me to work on some amazing projects such as all 8 episodes of 1923 (2022-2023), Fargo (2023), Fallout (2024). Before this I was working with Technicolor on films such as Prey (2022), The Princess (2022), Secret Headquarters (2022), and many more that can be seen on my resume.
I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Savannah College of Art and Design with my degree in Game Development. After that I focused on environmental art including; design process in the 3D and 2D world, texturing (PBR), hard surface modeling, organic modeling, retopology, and UV optimization.
In my down time, I have been working as a part time Design Professor at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising teaching creative fashion/product sculpting in Zbrush. I have a strong passion for helping those around me with a bubbly personality that helps foster a team environment. I am always excited to persevere into the next project and see what sort of impact we can make. With the ability to handle working under strict deadlines, leading team environments, and adjusting to the multiple iterations of a client’s needs. I strive to always be adapting to new tools and techniques that further my passion and to always keep myself learning from my teammates around me.
